Debate about the origins of COVID-19 reemerged after The Wall Street Journal <\/em>reported on Sunday that the United States Department of Energy (DOE) concluded that the virus likely stemmed from a lab leak in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sars-CoV-2\u2014first discovered in Wuhan, China, in December 2019\u2014has spread across the globe ever since, killing more than 6.8 million people worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University<\/a>, and having life-altering effects on many others<\/a>. From the onset of the pandemic, questions emerged about the virus’ origins with two leading theories typically dominating the scientific community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newsweek<\/em> reported on March 27, 2020, and corroborated by two U.S. officials<\/a>, that U.S. intelligence revised its January assessment in which it “judged that the outbreak probably occurred naturally” to now include the possibility that the new coronavirus emerged “accidentally” due to “unsafe laboratory practices” in Wuhan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The classified report, titled “China: Origins of COVID-19 Outbreak Remain Unknown,” ruled out that the disease was genetically engineered or released intentionally as a biological weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u636e\u7ea6\u7ff0\u970d\u666e\u91d1\u65af\u5927\u5b66\uff08Johns Hopkins University\uff09\u7edf\u8ba1\uff0c2019\u5e7412\u6708\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\u6b66\u6c49\u9996\u6b21\u53d1\u73b0SARS-CoV-2\u75c5\u6bd2\uff0c\u81ea\u6b64\u5728\u5168\u7403\u8303\u56f4\u5185\u4f20\u64ad\uff0c\u9020\u6210680\u591a\u4e07\u4eba\u6b7b\u4ea1\uff0c\u5e76\u5bf9\u8bb8\u591a\u5176\u4ed6\u4eba\u4ea7\u751f\u4e86\u6539\u53d8\u751f\u547d\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\u3002 \u4ece\u5927\u6d41\u884c\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u5173\u4e8e\u75c5\u6bd2\u8d77\u6e90\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u5c31\u51fa\u73b0\u4e86\uff0c\u4e24\u79cd\u4e3b\u8981\u7406\u8bba\u901a\u5e38\u652f\u914d\u7740\u79d1\u5b66\u754c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u7f8e\u56fd\u300a\u65b0\u95fb\u5468\u520a\u300b\u4e8e2020\u5e743\u670827\u65e5\u62a5\u9053,\u5e76\u5f97\u5230\u4e24\u540d\u7f8e\u56fd\u5b98\u5458\u7684\u8bc1\u5b9e,\u7f8e\u56fd\u60c5\u62a5\u90e8\u95e8\u4eca\u5e741\u6708\u7684\u8bc4\u4f30”\u8ba4\u4e3a,\u65b0\u51a0\u80ba\u708e\u53ef\u80fd\u662f\u81ea\u7136\u53d1\u751f\u7684”,\u5e76\u4fee\u6539\u4e86\u8be5\u8bc4\u4f30\u5185\u5bb9,\u4ee5\u5305\u62ec\u56e0\u6b66\u6c49\u7684”\u4e0d\u5b89\u5168\u5b9e\u9a8c\u5ba4\u60ef\u4f8b”\u800c”\u5076\u7136”\u51fa\u73b0\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4ee5\u300a\u4e2d\u56fd:\u65b0\u51a0\u80ba\u708e\u53d1\u75c5\u539f\u56e0\u4e0d\u660e\u300b\u4e3a\u9898\u7684\u5206\u7c7b\u62a5\u544a\u4e66\u4e2d\u6392\u9664\u4e86\u8be5\u75be\u75c5\u662f\u9057\u4f20\u5de5\u7a0b\u75be\u75c5\u6216\u6545\u610f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u751f\u7269\u6b66\u5668\u4e0a\u5e02\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
